Debbie has worked in the Healthcare industry for 25 years, starting her career as a hospital Social Worker in 1996 concentrating on Oncology, Labor and Delivery and Orthopedics. After several years in direct patient care, Debbie transitioned into a Business Development role and has held several positions in this realm of healthcare. She began as a Clinical Liaison in 2002 with Kindred Healthcare and has held roles including the Area Director of Business Development, District Director of Business Development and now as the Chief Operating Officer for the Houston District. She has been with Kindred for 16 years in total.
She received her B.A. in Psychology from Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas and went on to receive her Masters in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and is a Licensed Master Social Worker.
Debbie is a Member of ACHE and was recently selected into the prestigious Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program. She serves on the Networking and Relations Committee in the ACHE Southeast Texas Chapter. Debbie is also on the Board of the American Lung Association, a member of The Greater Houston Partnership, Greater Houston Area Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Texas Hospital Association where she is on the Leadership Development Council.
