Whitney Evans is the Neuroscience Service Line Director at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.  She joined Mercy Health as an Administrative Fellow after graduating with an MHA degree from Tulane University School of Public & Tropical Medicine in May 2015.  After completing one year of her fellowship, Whitney was promoted to the Director of Neuroscience Service Line position where she is responsible for the operations, finance, and strategy of inpatient and outpatient neuroscience services at Lourdes Hospital.

During graduate school, Whitney worked at New Orleans East Hospital, a hospital destroyed by Katrina in 2005.  She served 15 months as an Administrative Resident and was able to be a part of the hospital’s reopening team in 2014.  Whitney obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology Pre-Med & Spanish in 2011 from Loyola University New Orleans.

Whitney is a proud member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE).  Whitney is also board member for the Purchase Area Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center (PASAC), the Paducah McCracken County Senior Citizens Center, and the Paducah Art House Alliance (PAHA).  She is a member of the Chamber of Commerce’s Paducah Young Professionals organization.  Whitney serves as a preceptor to Murray State University undergraduate students, and she serves as both Advisory Board member and internship preceptor for Western Kentucky University’s MHA program.   One of Whitney’s greatest joys is giving back to the community through service and mentorship.
