Kelly Brian Flannery
Mr. Kelly Brian Flannery is the Chief Planning Officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Sierra Pacific Network, serving Veterans in northern California, Nevada, and the Pacific Islands. Kelly’s VA career spans 20 years and began as an anesthesia technician, followed by managerial positions in health administration, rural health, and both facility and strategic planning. He is a graduate of the VA Leadership Development Institute and the VA Health Care Leadership Development Program. Kelly is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a 2019 Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program Scholar, and a member of ACHE’s LGBT Forum. He is also a member of the California Association of Healthcare Leaders (CAHL) and serves on the CAHL Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Kelly earned his Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Walden University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of San Francisco.
